
Carmageddon: Reincarnation ran a successful kickstarter, and they also have a publisher providing extra funds (as I recall). By your definition (no crowdfunding), FTL isn't indie, and Miasmata is debatable (they ran a failed kickstarter). Each of us may define indie however he likes, and argue about whether it is indie or not.
